Pringle Bay Beach
Description
Pringle Bay Beach is a stunning long and wide beach with fine white sand, situated in the holiday town of Pringle Bay, less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town International Airport in the Western Cape.
The beach offers a beautiful landscape, backed by glorious sand dunes and fynbos-clad mountains. The beach is exposed to the wind and usually empty, making it an ideal choice for wind sports. It is also a fantastic place to watch the sunset over the mountains in the distance. While the sea temperature is usually cool, the mouth of Buffel’s River offers a much warmer and safer bathing experience. Snorkelling and fishing is possible around the many rock pools and crevices at the far sides of the beach. Spend the day relaxing, building sandcastles with your kids, and paddling in the river and sea. A number of restaurants and shops are situated in the town.
