Sea Point Swimming Pool

Description

The Sea Point Swimming Pool is a public swimming pool set right on the beachfront in Sea Point, Cape Town. It is regarded by many as the most scenic public swimming pools in the world, incorporating an Olympic-sized pool, 2 splash pools for children, and a fully equipped springboard diving pool.

Although the pools are not heated, the facility is open throughout the year, and a handful of Capetonians can still be seen training throughout the winter. During summer, however, the pool will be filled with a colourful mix of locals and tourists, as the pool can accomodate up to 1,300 people at a time.
