Description

Vangate Mall is a popular shopping centre near Athlone, Cape Town. With 150 world class stores and a traditional Moroccan Souk Market, the mall provides a fantastic outing for young and old.

The stores offer speciality foods and spices, furnishings, clothing, accessories, crafts, leatherwear, jewellery, and more. In order to empower traders from the local community, the mall also has an array of informal market stalls at the back of the centre. Items on offer include flowers, fruit and vegetables, electronics, accessories, and clothing.

The mall has over 1500 parking bays (with bays for the disabled, pensioners, and mothers with babies), 24 hour security, and a prayer room for 200 people. There is a fully fledged Halaal Food Court with more than 15 restaurants and fast food outlets, with everything from KFC to Ocean Basket.
