"It is great as a stop-over for people wishing to explore the Cederberg and surrounding areas."
"A typical South African town offering the visitor wildflower displays towards the end of the rainy season, geological splendour and a big dam. The area also has Bushman and other history."
"De Kelder-restuarant has a beautiful mountain view and have good food at good prices."
"Clanwilliam is 'n pragtige dorp! Blomme was pragtig en rooibostee 'n unieke ervaring.
"Farming town consisting of different cultures. Basic shopping can be done at the local Spar."
"Clanwilliam is sentraal as jy will blomme kyk in Namaqualand, Cederberge en die Weskus wil besoek."
"Only slight negative is lack of choice in restaurants, but hey, do your own thing. Good supermarkets and excellent local butcher! Well-situated for day trips round and about on some very good roads and some not so good. Nice to come back to your stay over every evening. "
"Pasop vir verkeersbeamptes! Aangesien die padtekens so swak geverf is.
"Clanwilliam has good shopping facilities. Restaurants didn't appeal as we enjoy food different to what we eat at home. Had breakfast and didn't enjoy it at all. The coffee shop is very attractive with a lovely view, staff not very knowledgeable. Flower viewing areas are easily accessible and the tourist information was helpful."
"A lovely little gem of a town, so much to see at Ramskop Nature Reserve. Taking the road through the spectacular mountains to Biedouw Valley. Lamberts Bay is close by."
