"Die Plaasstal, Tastebuds by Dargle sowel as die Italiaanse restaurant Il Postino ook in Dargle is 'n moet!"
"Something for everyone - Piggly Wiggly for candle dipping and leather goods. The Boma across the road for pizzas. The Junction for a variety of goods, including leather items, charms, clothing and chocolates."
"The only downside regarding the area, were the potholes on the Currys Post/Howick Road - by day one had to navigate carefully through sections, but at night they are potentially hazardous."
"I really loved Rosetta & the fact that we were away from the hustle & bustle, but also relatively close to many quaint little shops. The drive back to PMB is also lovely, with many possible stops along the meander, Granny Mouse, Piggly Wigglly and many more. Also not too far from home."
"Midlands is beautiful with all the farms and has lovely restaurants. A gem that I only discovered recently. From now on the coast will include a stopover for at least one night or maybe a few days to unwind."
"I love Howick but, as all towns do, it is growing, still a lovely place to shop and drink coffee though. Friendly and down to earth. The kick-off town for the Midlands Meander."
"The Meander is great, although it has become a bit commercialised and more focused on overseas tourists. The prices of some gifts are ridiculous. There are some nice places hidden away though, so go looking for them."
