"Nature-wise this is a stunning area but the facilities in and around this area are poor. The road to the "Hole in the Wall" is very challenging and it's very difficult to get to in a normal car. No warning is given to the difficulty of the road (gravel) for standard cars."
"Ek geniet Port St Johns baie. Ek hou daarvan dat dit bietjie afgeleë is en amper voel of jy in 'n buurstaat van Suid Afrika is. Mense is vriendelik en rustig. Die dorp is maar verwaarloos en dit sal goed wees as daar bietjie geld inkom vir ontwikkeling. Die natuur in die omgewing is ongelooflik, die enigste nadeel is dat mens nie regtig in die see kan swem nie, en jy 'n entjie moet ry om by 'n veilige swemstrand uit te kom. Verder geniet ek dit altyd en rus lekker as ek daar bly."
"It was amazing as it was exactly what we were looking for. No bright lights, nothing to spend money on and the food was great, everywhere we went. I realise it is a fisherman's paradise and we do not fish, but for us, it was amazing. Even the weather was great!"

The "Pearl" Lobster"Other than the unexpected, bad accommodation, Morgan's Bay will see me again. Once out of the accommodation, it was a great holiday!"

Lagoon View"Morgan's Bay itself has a number of great walks along the beach or over the nearby cliffs to Double Mouth. There are also horse rides nearby, and a visit to Billy Nel's private motorcycle and everything else museum is a must. For families the lagoon is perfect as it is shallow in the main swimming/playing area next to the beach. Access is via a good tarred road. "
"Coffee Bay is very scenic. I would, however, recommend accommodation outside of the village towards Hole in the Wall."
"River mouth and the beach offer opportunities for swimming and other water sports as well as extended walks. The town/village is quiet. In town shopping is limited to essentials, but a shopping mall is some 30 min (by car). "
