Die Melkstal Cottage is a free-standing, self-catering unit located on a working farm in Ceres. Previously a milking shed, it boasts an antique atmosphere with wooden beams and reeds for ceilings. Ideal for a small family looking to escape the busy city.
This unit can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed as well as a single bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a bath. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a stove, oven, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and a breakfast bar with stools. The living and dining areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax and also boast an indoor fireplace, ideal for those cold winter evenings. Additionally, a single bed is available for extra accommodation. For guests' entertainment, a smart TV and access to free Wi-Fi are available.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio and garden area with braai facilities and outdoor seating. Guests are afforded secure on-site parking and can enjoy the farm surroundings by walking between the orchards, cycling routes in the Waboomsberg, or having their own picnic by the dam.
