Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Open fires are not permitted as it is a wooden deck.
The property features a 1.5km single sandy track access road where a 4x4 vehicle is not essential but low-clearance vehicles may find it challenging.
Access to the beach requires entry into iSimangaliso Park with a daily fee applicable. Day visitors can use designated parking and access the beach on foot.
Guests should be aware that Sodwana Bay may experience load shedding and regular power cuts, resulting in very low water pressure, as it is pumped from a borehole. Planning showers accordingly is advisable during these times.
For backup, the property provides a rechargeable lamp and cooking facilities via a gas stove or gas braai.
Although the hosts reside on-site, guests enjoy privacy through their own electric gate and entrance. The property is home to dogs and chickens.
Weekly servicing of the cottage is included, with additional cleaning available upon request if arranged by 5 pm the day prior, at an additional per-day cost (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
The property can accommodate 2 small children on lightweight mattresses by prior arrangement. Bedding is not provided.
