Best sea holiday ever!

Wow. What an amazing experience we had for our 1st visit to Sodwana Bay. Dune View made us feel at home. Just a lot more relaxed. Neat, clean and well equipped with aircon, back up power and Netflix. Payge guided and gave great advice every day. Thank you Payge and Jamie. We really appreciate your assistance, honesty and hospitality. You will definitely see us again in the near future.

Beautiful cottage with the best view.

Dune View Cottage was one of the best places that we have ever stayed at. It is peaceful and quiet. The cottage is located in a quiet area surrounded by friendly locals. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Ons familie het ons tydjie by Dune View Cottage verskriklik geniet. Die plekkie is beter as die fotos en mens het onmiddellik tuis en ontspanne gevoel. Dit is baie stil en geen ligbesoedeling nie, so jy kan die sterre mooi helder sien. Die gasheer, Payge, is baie behulpsaam, kommunikeer vinnig, en daar's 'n helper nie ver van die huisie af, wat jou met enige iets sal help. Die enigste ding is dat jy wel met 'n 1,5 km sandpad ry om by jou eindbestemming uit te kom, so 'n 4x4, bakkie, SUV of verhoogde kar is aanbeveel. Ons sal vir seker terug wees.

Delightful home away from home. Perfect for a couples' getaway.

Perfect accommodation for our needs. The staff were amazing and we had more than we can ask for. We will definitely be returning and will give a five-star recommendation to anyone considering this venue.

Tranquillity and peaceful.

A true rural area experience. Even the cattle that freely roamed around was exciting and makes it even more pleasurable to see how calm and peaceful they are.

Very nice unit with a relaxed atmosphere.

However, although there is a generator for power failures, we were not aware that no electricity meant no water at the unit either as the water requires electricity to be pumped from the borehole. So take extra water with you. The generator will only be in operation for short periods of time, but if you have a desperate need, the owner will run it for a half hour or so. A very pleasant place to stay. Also have a torch or back up lamp for power failures, there was a torch supplied at the unit, but it was not in working condition. We loved our stay there.

We are really impressed with Dune View Cottage. It is home away from home. The cottage itself is very clean and welcoming. You have a beautiful view. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We just want to thank you for your hospitality and for assisting us where you could.

Wonderful location and views, excellent hospitality.

The hosts are helpful from the moment of arrival in Sodwana, to reach the cottage by sandy road. The cottage is tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The little details make it feel like home from home. All in all a five star experience. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic cottage with a stunning view of the dunes and fabulous sunsets.

We had an awesome stay at the Dune View cottage, in fact we decided to stay longer! Payge blessed us with fresh eggs and guavadillas for breakfast! Lovely views all around! Very central but not near the noise and bustle of Sodwana. Highly recommend!

Modern, private cottage with a great view.

Really enjoyed the privacy and view from this cottage. Modern and catered for all our needs. The host was great, loved the open plan space. The directions weren’t great to find the place, but we enjoyed everything else.

A perfect place in The Dunes.

This is a really wonderful place. Two things we found outstanding: the hospitality of our host, Payge, and the location of the cottage. Payge was the perfect host, easy to communicate with, full of useful advice on everything, she made us feel at home immediately. The cottage has a wonderful balcony overlooking the dune landscape, a perfect place to sit and relax and admire the view or have a sundowner. We had a great time and especially have to thank Payge for getting us in touch with Peter who took us on an amazing tour of the turtles.

Die verblyf was baie mooi en netjies, en daagliks skoongemaak. Dis baie stil en rustig met 'n groot dek en pragtige uitsig. Sal definitief aanbeveel!

Very relaxing and lovely view.

We had a very relaxing time even though the power/water did switch off, but we had been warned. Very rustic accommodation but comfortable. Lovely deck with a stunning view. Be prepared for small inconveniences, but for the price very good value. The owner was very accommodating in everything and we really found her to be a most helpful and friendly lady.
