Ons het lekker gebly en rustig geslaap. Alles wat ons nodig gehad het, was daar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pear Tree Cottage, and the host excelled in making sure that we were comfortable and had all that we needed for our self-catering visit.

Accessible and tranquil.

A really tranquil spot, with plenty of restaurants nearby. A short walk takes you down to the tree-lined banks of the Lions River, which gives off a beautiful scent in the evening and the chorus of frogs. Birds abound in the garden. Gas hob, oven and geyser worked perfectly. The main bed was a little hard for me, but otherwise lovely.

Ons het baie lekker gebly. Die kothuis is baie netjies en alles is daar wat mens benodig. Ons het die hele tyd baie veilig gevoel. Die area is pragtig en toeganklik tot alle besienswaardighede in die omgewing.

Restful fun beautiful nature.

An absolutely lovely stay! The hosts were very welcoming and the place was clean, neat and beautiful. The perfect restful and magical getaway in the Midlands!

Tranquility.

Tranquil, warm and welcoming, inviting guests to relax and connect with nature while listening to the sounds of the Lions River. The accommodation is spacious inside and out. Definitely recommended.

Heerlik op die stoep gesit en kuier.

Die kothuis is baie goed ingerig en mens voel sommer tuis. Die uitsig is pragtig en die blyplek is naby besienswaardighede in die Natalse middellande.

Peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at Pear Tree Cottage. Dominique was very accommodating. The beds were lovely and comfy, the cottage was very clean and well-equipped. We loved lying around on the beautiful lawn watching the birds and enjoying the greenery. The farm has a lot of history, so take the time to read the information booklet in the cottage; you will be surprised. We found the people in the area incredibly friendly. Do yourself a favour and visit the Milestone Forest nearby for a walk.

Great stay.

The cottage has everything one needs for a few days' city break away. It's neat and cosy, and the host is super caring and friendly. It's a short walk to the Lion's River for relaxing walks along the river.

What a hidden gem!

It was a wonderful place to escape from the city and relax together as a family. Our toddler loved our walks to the river! We will definitely come back.

What an amazing place to escape from all the hustle and bustle. This gorgeous cottage felt like home and you can just relax. Well located for all the great Midlands Meander attractions.

Dominique het ons vriendelik ontvang en was 'n wonderlike gasvrou. Sy het gereeld verneem of ons enige iets benodig, veral tydens beurtkrag. Pear Tree Cottage is 'n fantastiese en puik blyplek en het alles wat mens nodig het. Pragtig, skoon en netjies en geleë in 'n heerlike rustige en stil omgewing. Sal vir seker terugkeer as die geleentheid hom voordoen en kan hierdie Cottage vir seker aanbeveel vir iemand wat 'n plaas en rustige atmosfeer wil ervaar.

What an amazing little cottage, safe and peaceful location and just what we needed after a busy weekend of swimming way too many Midmar Miles.

Baie aangenaam, skoon en netjies.

Baie aangename gasvrou. Persoonlike, klein gebare om mens welkom te laat voel en uitgehelp toe Eskom ons in die steek laat. Baie mooi plekkie met als wat mens nodig het.

Alles was perfek vir 'n naweek in die Midlands. Dominique was 'n great gasvrou, en die plekkie is bitter mooi en skoon! Ons sal vir seker weer daar gaan bly! Rus vir die siel.

Ideale plek vir 'n rustige wegbreek.

Die cottage is ideaal geleë met 'n pragtige uitsig en stil omgewing om net te kan ontsnap van die stad en lawaai. Baie netjies, skoon en goed toegerus, kon nie vir beter plek gevra het vir ons wegbreek nie. Die diens is ook baie goed en Dominique was baie gasvry en behulpsaam. Sal beslis weer bespreek by Pear Tree Cottage as ons weer in daai omgewing is.

Great location and a well-stocked self-catering little cottage.

It is a very peaceful area and was one of the better places we have stayed as a family. The host made us feel very welcome. The kitchen and items were in good condition and we did not feel like the host 'cut any corners. '.

Stunning cottage with beautiful, peaceful location and view. The cottage is well equipped with all you'll need and with added little extra's - fresh milk, coffee, tea and even biscuits. Excellent security and close to great restaurants if you feel like eating out.

Rustige kuierplek!

Rustig, met 'n fantastiese uitsig en redelik naby aan al die besienswaardighede!

Dit was 'n baie netjiese en pragtige kothuis met spesiale aandag aan klein detail.

Ons het die grootste waardering vir die ruikertjie van roosmaryn, kruisement en ander bydraes van die tuin, die warmwaterfles wat ons vol kookwater gedurende "loadshedding" gekry het, die potjies met vetplante en 'n baie netjiese verblyfplek.

Baie lekker en rustige verblyf.

Die eenheid is goed ingerig en het als wat nodig is vir 'n lekker naweekwegbreek.
