Description
These Log Cabins each contain 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom contains a double bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge contains a TV with selected DStv channels and a fireplace. Each cabin has a balcony with a Weber braai facility.

Please note: From 1 September 2017 all visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce an identity document, passport or alternative valid identification e.g. driver’s licence card for scanning upon entering and exiting the Parks.
A standard daily conservation fee of R240 for foreign visitors, R120 for SADC nationals with a valid passport, and R60 for South African Citizens and Residents with ID, will be required on entry to the park.
The gates in Golden Gate do not close, the road running through the Park is a public road which does not allow for the installation of any boom gates.
Gate control is done at both receptions Golden Gate Hotel and Glen Reenen Rest Camp on arrival.
Visitors with reserved accommodation who arrive after 17:30 may collect the keys to their accommodation at the security office, Glen Reenen filling station.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances
The use of drones inside and over national parks is strictly prohibited.
No smoking is allowed inside the accommodation.
Remember, by feeding any wildlife you are signing their death warrant, as they become aggressive.
As outdoor lighting in camps is limited, a torch or headlamp is required when walking outside at night.
Hikers on the day- and overnight trails must always carry sufficient water.
Pets are not allowed in a National Park.
Cancellation Policy - Custom
Cancelling or downgrading of a reservation 45 days or less prior to, or on, arrival will result in cancellation fees according to a sliding scale, based on the total reservation cost, which varies between 50% and 100%.
