House Rules
- Regrettably no children under the age of 12 are allowed.
- Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
- Please note, the cottage only has an outdoor shower.
- The cottage can only be reached by 4x4, on foot, or by mountain bike. Guests can be escorted to the cottage from Syringa Sands; this would need to be arranged in advance.
- The last 45 km leading up to the establishment is on a dirt road and a high clearance vehicle is recommended; guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Due to the remote location, the cottage is completely off the grid and operates on limited solar power for the camping fridge, water pump, and hot water geyser.
- The cottage has limited cellphone reception with no Wi-Fi access, and relies on rainwater harvesting for up to 20 000 litres of storage, and oil lamps are provided for light.
