Description
Nyae Nyae Conservancy, meaning 'place without mountains, but rocky', was registered in 1998 to conserve and protect this fragile area. It covers a protected area of 1 million hectares of unspoiled wilderness in the far east part of Namibia that borders Botswana.
In proximity to the Nyae Nyae Pans and Khaudom National Park, Tsumkwe Country Lodge is an ideal adventurous starting point to reach the Zambezi Region and Botswana via the Dobe border post to experience the famous Okavango Delta. Tsumkwe is still a wilderness paradise, off the beaten track.
Tsumkwe Country Lodge is the only accommodation facility on the Namibian side of this area that offers 22 well-appointed chalets with en-suite facilities in a rustic yet comfortable style.
Each twin-room tented stand is furnished with twin beds that can convert into a king-size bed. Each of these units has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The units also feature fly screens and mosquito nets.
The family room at Stone House is ideal for adults with children. It is furnished with 4, 3-quarter beds. The shared en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. In addition, this unit also features fly screens and mosquito nets.
