Humewood Golf Course

Description

Humewood Golf Course in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, is home to one of the most challenging links courses in the world. The 18-hole course is ranked in the top 10 South African golf course and offers an authentic seaside links with wide undulating fairways, lush greens, and thick coastal bush.

The course attracts a wide variety of wildlife and birdlife, such as the crowned plover who sits prominently on the club’s logo. These birds are protected by a local rule requiring golfers to drop away from a nest. Notable tournaments held at the club include the South African Amateur and the South African Open.
