Mac Mac Falls

Description

Mac Mac Falls, named after the Scottish gold prospectors who panned here, is a great spot for a picnic while travelling along the “Waterfalls Tour” on the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga.

Other waterfalls along the tour include the Horseshoe Falls, Lone Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Maria Shires Falls, Lisbon Falls, and the Berlin Falls. This roundtrip of under 100km shows the best waterfalls in this old gold-mining region. Situated along the escarpment of the Drakensberg mountains, this region has a higher density of waterfalls than anywhere else in Southern Africa.
