Description
Mthatha Airport (UTT), formerly known as Umtata Airport, is a medium-sized airport that serves the town of Mthatha in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The airport was previously called K.D Matanzima Airport after Kaiser Matanzima, the former president of the Transkei. The airport offers both scheduled and private charter jet flights, and features one asphalt runway and one grass runway with basic facilities.
