"Wow en ek moet sê ek was aangenaam verras, ek verstaan nou hoekom so baie mense dit as hul vakansie bestemming geniet. Ek gaan beslis weer terug."
"Struisbaai is a sure bet for escaping the city and relaxing in a small town by the sea. It has been our famiily's holiday destination, for weekends, easter breaks and summer camping since 1972. We have rented houses in Struisbaai and we have always been satisfied with the consideration given by the homeowners to make our stay comfortable, from kitchen comforts to braai areas. The community is very friendly and welcoming, from neighbours to service providers. Restaurants rarely disappoint and you will find the best fish & chips in Struisbaai/L'Agullas (kabeljou!). "
"Quaint. Laid back feel, we were very new to the place and did'nt know much about what can be done in the area other than go to the beach or eat out. I suppose if we asked around we could have found out about "Things to do" in and around Struisbaai. Maybe a little more advertising? However the place in general is clean and well maintained. Its peaceful and friendly, with awesome views. It reminded me of my childhood days holidaying at the sea....... not a care in the world ;-) Sun, Sea, Sand!!"
Goeie restauurante."
"Struisbaai is a lovely place, but quite unpleasantly windy at some times. Beautiful beaches. Warm water. Friendly locals. Struisbaai has a few interesting areas to visit, which can be done in a day or two. It would be kind if the grocery stores were not so expensive compared to "non-tourist" grocery stores elsewhere."
"Definitely visit the harbour especially when the boats come out after a days fishing. Look out for Parrie the huge Stingray when the boats return. It can get busy when the boats return. If you have small kids just be mindful. A visit to Arniston lighthouse also recommended and then of course the most Southern Tip of Africa. Struisbaai also has a big OK retailer where you can buy groceries."
