Narina Cliffs is a rustic off-grid cottage offering comfortable self-catering accommodation overlooking the forested valleys of the Knysna River and the Outeniqua mountains. Located in the Southern Cape 25 kms from Knysna, Nestled in the wilderness attached to a working fruit farm near Rheenendal, the cottage is accessed by a rugged farm road requiring a high clearance vehicle or SUV.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. Guests share a bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Additionally, there is an outside hot-water shower with mountain views and an outside loo.

The living area features an open-plan design with a fully equipped kitchen, including gas stove, oven, and fridge, plus cutlery, and crockery. A 6-seater dining table adjacent to the kitchen is perfect for meals. The lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating. A solar panel provides basic lighting and charging for phones and laptops. Solar lamps are provided. No Wi-Fi but mobile phone reception is good.

Relax on the spacious balcony or braai next to the cottage with panoramic views of the forests and mountains. Whether you want to go birding or hiking, put your mountain-biking or 4×4 skills to the test, swim in the river and sunbathe on its shores, enjoy a good read on the patio, or watch the sun travel across the northern horizon, meditate, or hold a retreat – it’s all yours.
