Best views, peaceful, off-grid living at its finest.

We visited over the Easter weekend to celebrate a friend’s birthday (and take on the bungee jump!) and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Check-in was a breeze, and Janet gave us the warmest welcome - complete with a bit of local history and a lovely gift hamper filled with goodies from the farm. The cabin is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for true off-grid living, with solar panels and a small battery system. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re enjoying a coffee and rusk on the deck in the morning or lighting up the braai in the evening, the valley stretches out in front of you like something out of a postcard. One of our favourite touches was the outdoor shower - highly recommend it for the view alone! We only wish we had more time to explore the hiking routes that start right from the cabin. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and breathe a little deeper. Big thanks again to Janet for her incredible hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
