House Rules
Fire prevention: The cottage is surrounded by fynbos, which is very flammable. Guests must not leave the braai fire unattended and must ensure that the fire is properly extinguished after cooking.
Baboons: Wildlife in the surrounding forest area includes baboons. Guests must ensure that all windows and doors are securely closed when the cottage is not occupied. DO NOT FEED BABOONS. Make sure that no food is left outside and that the rubbish bin is securely closed.
Smoking: Please do not smoke inside the cottage.
Septic Tank: The toilets are connected to a septic tank. Please do not put anything other than toilet paper into the toilet bowl. No sanitary pads, tampons, or nappies.
Farm Gates: There may occasionally be cattle on parts of the property. Please close gates behind you.
